Grain de Blé (Grain of Wheat):
When World War II left behind number of orphans, a businessman
rose up to make the difference.
In 1948 Jean André was introducing in Switzerland its first
group of 120 children. Welcomed in a Home Center, the children were
feed, loved and encouraged. They could return back home refreshed
and better equipped to build their future.
Today, around 60 years later, Grain de Blé is actively supporting
number of children in more then 25 countries all around the world.
From those humble beginnings of a businessman successful in his
wheat trading company, the Grain de Blé Foundation started
to minister children.
Today Grain de Blé has grown, but one thing has remained
constant: Each Children Counts!
In 28 countries, Grain de Blé continues to
provide crucial ministries for children. Working through local partners,
our teams are serving the children in a long term perspective.
